What intuitive eating isn’t: you won’t suddenly find your head in a cookie jar.

What intuitive eating isn’t: you won’t suddenly find your head in a cookie jar.

When women trust themselves to make nutrition decisions something magical happens. She releases herself from the shame and guilt of a single cookie and yet learns to listen to her own hunger cues and needs more intimately than the traditional “dieting” approach to weight management. In this episode I’m joined by Dr. Sylvi Martin, a Naturopathic doctor with a background in psychiatric nursing and mental health. We dive in on the challenge women face in their nutrition and she sheds light on the concepts of intuitive eating and how it might just be the nutrition plan that saves women.

Sylvie is the co-host of an intuitive eating community online that offers education and community on the subject of intuitive eating and breaking up with diet culture. You can find Sylvi on Instagram or test-drive a 2 week trial of Nourishing Wellbeing, her online community for intuitive eating.
